The Fame Monsterby ~criminally-VULGAR

Our midterm assignment in my Image Manipulation class was to create a metamorphosis of two of four things: a person, a machine, an animal, or a plant.

Being that this was the first one we had to physically hand in (as in, print out), I knew that if I was going to be spending money on something, that it would be something I would WANT to hang up, so although I had already done Gaga-related pieces for all the previous assignments for this class, I decided to create "THE FAME MONSTER", a hybrid of part human, part machine, all monster.

- I love it when she wears her hear long, so I gave her extensions
- swapped out her arms; both are "still in the process of being completed", the one on the bridge just needs skin, while the one she's raising needs the metal covering, as well as skin.
- swapped out her torso, and added her pyro bra
- swapped out her neck, turning her vocal chords into a stereo/speaker; making her part-machine
- put that metal piece from Poker Face on her cheek. It seemed fitting.
- put a Muni (bus) in her hand; here's my original description:

Gaga finally comes to San Francisco (where I've been living for the past four months)! n_n And she destroys the Muni system because she, like me, hates it when it decides to be inconvenient!

I also tried to make it fit conceptually into her old Fame Ball concert interludes, which I'm in love with, "the Heart" and "the Brain", in which Pop eats Candy Warhol (Gaga)'s heart and brain respectively, leaving behind "a machine", before he/it runs off into "the city".

I'm really satisfied with the final result, especially because it was the first time I was able to sit down and make anything in Photoshop for a few weeks (work and school and work and work and work are seriously taking up ALL my time

), so I'm going to be sticking this up on my wall with pride. <3
