K-Kinda Busy

My first actual piece created in Illustrator, the assignment was to created a portrait using Illustrator. Since I'm unable to vary my subject matter in all of my other classes this quarter, I figured I might as well use the opportunity I was given and do Gaga at least one time this quarter (besides, this teacher is my favorite, and was also my Image Manipulation teacher last quarter).

Not really much else to say, just a lot of gradients, brush work (my amazing parents got me a Wacom for Christmas <3), swatches, and pen tool. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out, especially since I have no clue what I'm doing while I'm in Illustrator.

It is currently 5AM, I have two four-hour classes in a couple of hours, and I have yet to sleep because I just finished this, and the project for my other class (which is unimportant and therefore will be left unmentioned lol). I also stayed up to catch the premiere of Lady Gaga's Born This Way. I love her.
